Network Marketing For Christians

Network Marketing For Christians - A Journey Along The King's High Way is a book written by Bill Boylan. It is generic book in that it does not mention any network marketing company. He even dedicates it to the founder and the wife of the networking marketing company with which he is affiliated without mentioning the name of the company. So if you want to find out what company he is affiliated with you have to contact him personally. I'm not going to mention it here either.

The book is more about the Christian and their outlook on finances than it is about network marketing. It is even more about Christian business generically than about network marketing. However with that said, all of the principals expounded on in the book are applicable to Christian network marketers.

He repeats his definition of success and prosperity many times in the book. His definitions are:

  • Success is for me to steadily and consistently move toward accomplishing God's plans and purposes for my life, according to my potential; it is a journey, not a destination.
  • Prosperity is for me to have enough for my journey.

Each chapter is ended with a suggested Scripture and statement to memorize and recite everyday.

Throughout the book he is endeavoring to convince the Christian that it is God's plan that all Christians be successful and prosperous. It is his belief the failure of many Christian to succeed in network amarketing is wrong thinking. That Christians are not aware of the many Scriptures supportive of personal financial success. They lack focus and vision and have the wrong motives for desiring success and prosperity.

On page 17 he illustrates with a conversation he had with a friend:

I have a friend who was honestly struggling with this concept of success, prosperity, and money.

My friend said to me, "I believe God wants me to be poor and humble for his glory. Poor people can be better witnesses for God because they're not encumbered by material things."

I responded, "Has being poor helped you be a better witness for Jesus? Has being poor given you more opportunities to reach people with God's good news? Because you are poor, are people more willing to pay attention to what you have to say?"

My friend thought for a moment and then replied: "I can't honestly say 'yes' to your questions"

I then asked him, "Has being poor helped you share the Gospel at home and around the world by giving more to your church, to missions, and to various ministries you believe it:"

Again my friend paused in deep thought and then answered me, "No. I'm barely getting by myself; I have very little go give to God."

The appendix is well worth the price of the book:

  • Ten Commandments for network marketing business
  • Living keys for my business
  • My business ABC's

It is a quick, east read but a great reference that I'll read again.

Conservatism is a nine letter word if my elementary math is correct not a four letter word. Yet it seems to be treated by many on the political left as such. The definition of conservatism according to dictionary.com is "the disposition to preserve... - 5 weeks ago
